Technical Details: QZ Nylon & Double Silver for controlled dynamics

The Knobloch Strings ADQ34.0 Actives Line QZ MHT string set impresses with an excellently balanced combination of materials. The treble strings are made of QZ Nylon, a high-density nylon material developed exclusively by Knobloch. These strings are characterized by clear intonation, stable pitch, and a brilliant tone—without losing the warm character of classic nylon strings.

QZ Nylon is ideal for musicians who desire precise articulation and a full timbre in the treble range. The strings respond directly to the touch while maintaining a pleasant softness in the tone. The G string is not wound, which ensures a consistent response in the treble range and makes melodic lines particularly easy to play.

In the bass range, Double Silver-wound strings are used. Here, a nylon core is wrapped in a double-silver-plated copper alloy, which produces a powerful, resonant, and well-balanced bass tone. These strings offer excellent sustain, high volume, and very stable tone production—ideal for rhythmic accompaniment as well as for solo bass lines.

With Medium-High Tension (MHT), this string set falls in the upper mid-range of tension levels. This tension class applies more pressure to the guitar body, increasing volume and sound projection while still maintaining a controlled and comfortable playing feel. The set is ideal for players who want both projection and playing comfort.

The Ball End is not used on this model—instead, the strings are secured in the classic manner by tying knots. This corresponds to the traditional playing style on the concert guitar and offers guitarists the ability to precisely adjust the string length and tension.
