Ibanez AEWC16QA-TEH Transparent Emerald Burst Acoustic-Electric Guitar
The Ibanez AEWC16QA-TEH brings the modern aesthetics and playability of an electric guitar to the world of acoustic guitars—perfect for guitarists who appreciate the comfort and handling of their electric instruments, but also don’t want to miss out on the acoustic sound. With its slim AEWC body, an eye-catching Transparent Emerald Burst finish, and sophisticated electronics, this guitar is a stylish, versatile tool for the stage, studio, or living room.
Modern design meets warm tone
The cloud maple design top (linden) gives the guitar its expressive look and, together with the sapele sides and back, delivers a clear, warm tone with defined mids and brilliant highs. The construction is tuned for optimal resonance and modern performance—ideal for solo playing, accompaniment, or gentle fingerpicking.
Playing feel like an electric guitar
The Comfort Grip neck made of Nyatoh, combined with the rosewood fingerboard, provides a smooth, familiar playing feel—especially for electric guitarists switching to an acoustic guitar. With a scale length of 634 mm and a nut width of 43 mm, the instrument offers comfortable playability for all musical styles.
Electronics for Stage & Studio
The AEWC16QA-TEH is equipped with an Ibanez undersaddle pickup that transmits the guitar’s natural sound cleanly and authentically to amplifiers or recording equipment. The AEQ-2T preamp features a 2-band EQ for bass and treble, as well as a built-in tuner that works even without a cable plugged in—ideal for everyday use on stage or in the rehearsal room.
Quick String Changes Without Pins
A handy feature is the rosewood top-loading bridge, which makes changing strings much easier. Without bridge pins, the strings can be easily inserted and changed—perfect for guitarists who value efficiency.
Conclusion: The modern acoustic guitar for electric guitarists
With its striking appearance, comfortable playability, and well-designed electronics, the Ibanez AEWC16QA-TEH is the perfect choice for modern guitarists looking for an acoustic guitar with electric guitar DNA. From its stylish appearance to its functional design—this model impresses in every way.
