NEW Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus Ice Blue E-Gitarre

Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus Ice Blue Electric Guitar

Are you looking for a modern electric guitar that combines versatile sounds, exceptional playability, and an extraordinary design? The Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus Ice Blue Electric Guitar combines a well-thought-out design with high-quality hardware and flexible HSS electronics. The newly developed alder body, the slim maple neck with a C-profile, and the Reflectone pickups—developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs—form the foundation for an instrument suited to a wide range of musical genres and playing styles.

The Ice Blue finish is particularly eye-catching. It’s one of the vibrant color options in the Pacifica Standard Plus series and blends influences from Japanese City Pop Art with the sunny Southern California lifestyle. The color selection was developed through close collaboration between Yamaha teams in Hamamatsu and Los Angeles. This gives the PACS+12 a fresh and distinctive look that perfectly complements the modern character of this electric guitar.

Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus with Modern Features

The Pacifica series has been known for its versatility for many years. The Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus Ice Blue electric guitar consistently carries on this tradition. Yamaha combines a comfortable body shape with modern hardware and a comprehensive set of electronic features.

At the heart of the guitar are the Reflectone pickups. Developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs, these pickups are arranged in a flexible HSS configuration. Two single-coil pickups are combined with a humbucker, enabling a wide spectrum of different tones.

Alder Body and Slim Maple Neck

The newly designed body of the Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus Ice Blue electric guitar is crafted from alder. This wood is one of the most trusted materials in electric guitar construction and provides a versatile foundation for a wide range of musical applications. At the same time, the Pacifica’s ergonomic shape supports a comfortable playing posture during rehearsals, recording sessions, and performances.

The slim maple neck with a C-profile is designed for a comfortable playing experience. Its satin finish provides a pleasantly understated surface and facilitates smooth position changes on the fretboard. Players who enjoy switching between chord work and fast lead passages will particularly benefit from this neck design.

The maple neck is complemented by a rosewood fingerboard with medium-sized stainless steel frets. The stainless steel frets match the PACS+12’s modern overall design and provide a sturdy foundation for bends, chords, and melodic solo playing.

Reflectone Pickups with Versatile HSS Wiring

Would you like to cover everything from transparent clean tones to powerful rock and lead sounds with a single electric guitar? This is exactly where the HSS configuration shines. The Reflectone pickups on the Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus Ice Blue electric guitar deliver a variety of tone characteristics that can be easily selected via the 5-way switch.

The two single-coil pickups provide an excellent foundation for clear and defined sounds, while the humbucker delivers extra power for more dynamic tones. This makes the PACS+12 ideal for genres such as pop, rock, blues, funk, and numerous modern styles.

In addition, the instrument features a volume control and a tone control with push-pull coil splitting. This allows for even more flexible use of the circuitry. Coil splitting expands the humbucker’s tonal possibilities and offers additional options for players who need different sounds within a set or song.

Gotoh Locking Tuners and 2-Point Tremolo System

The hardware on the Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus Ice Blue electric guitar is also designed for modern use. Gotoh locking tuners ensure the strings are securely held in place while also making string changes easier. Locking tuners are particularly practical when used in conjunction with a tremolo system.

The integrated 2-point tremolo system further expands your playing possibilities. It allows you to create subtle vibrato effects as well as more pronounced pitch changes. For those who enjoy playing expressive lead passages or want to add extra movement to chords, this provides a versatile tool.

Ice Blue Meets Japanese City Pop Art and California

The color scheme is one of the distinctive features of the Pacifica Standard Plus series. Yamaha teams from Hamamatsu and Los Angeles worked closely together on the new finishes. The color concept was inspired by both Japanese City Pop Art and the sun-drenched vibes of Southern California.

The Ice Blue finish gives the guitar a fresh, modern, and at the same time distinctive look. The light color harmonizes perfectly with the flowing lines of the Pacifica body, making the instrument a real eye-catcher.

If you’re looking for an electric guitar that stands out from classic black, white, or sunburst finishes, the Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus Ice Blue electric guitar offers an interesting alternative. The finish underscores the modern appeal of the entire Standard Plus series without being overly flashy.

Who is the Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus Ice Blue electric guitar best suited for?

The PACS+12 is particularly geared toward musicians looking for a versatile electric guitar. Thanks to its HSS configuration, it covers a wide range of musical styles, while the push-pull coil-splitting feature opens up additional tonal options.

The guitar also features well-thought-out design elements that enhance playing comfort. The slim C-shaped neck, rosewood fingerboard, and medium stainless steel frets provide a comfortable foundation for a variety of playing techniques. This makes the instrument suitable for rhythm playing and chords as well as solos and fast runs.

Those who regularly switch between different genres or sounds will also benefit from the intuitive controls. The most important tone options can be accessed quickly via the 5-way switch and the volume and tone controls.
